As a Furniture Delivery Driver, you will be responsible for the safe and timely delivery of furniture to our customers. You will be the face of our company, ensuring that each delivery is executed with the utmost care and professionalism. Your role involves more than just driving; it includes customer service, assembly, and teamwork.

Key Responsibilities:

• Delivery and Transportation:
  • Load, transport, and deliver furniture to customers in a timely manner.
  • Ensure the safe handling of all furniture items during loading, transit, and unloading.
  • Navigate and follow delivery routes and schedules.
• Customer Service:
  • Provide excellent customer service, addressing any questions or concerns during delivery.
  • Communicate effectively with customers regarding delivery times and any potential delays.
  • Ensure customer satisfaction by handling items with care and respecting their property.
• Assembly and Installation:
  • Assemble and set up furniture at the customer's location as required.
  • Use tools and equipment to ensure proper assembly and installation of furniture.
  • Ensure all items are placed correctly and are functioning properly.
• Maintenance and Safety:
  • Perform routine maintenance checks on the delivery vehicle to ensure it is in good working condition.
  • Adhere to all safety regulations and company policies while driving and handling furniture.
  • Report any vehicle issues or accidents to the supervisor immediately.
• Documentation:
  • Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including delivery times, mileage, and any customer feedback.
  • Obtain necessary signatures and documentation upon delivery completion.

Qualifications:

• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous experience in delivery driving, furniture handling, or a related field is preferred.
• Ability to lift and carry heavy items (up to [specific weight] lbs) regularly.
