Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Forklift Operator to join our dynamic team in a fast-paced distribution center. The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating various types of heavy equipment, including forklifts and pallet jacks, to efficiently load and unload materials. This role requires a strong focus on safety and adherence to OSHA regulations while ensuring the smooth operation of warehouse activities.

Responsibilities

• Operate forklifts and other heavy equipment to move materials throughout the warehouse.
• Load and unload products from trucks and containers, ensuring proper handling and placement.
• Utilize order pickers and pallet jacks for efficient inventory management.
• Perform routine inspections of equipment to ensure safety and functionality.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area in compliance with warehouse management standards.
• Collaborate with team members to meet daily operational goals and deadlines.
• Follow all safety protocols, including OSHA guidelines, to minimize risks in the workplace.

Experience

• Previous experience as a Forklift Operator or in a similar role within a distribution center is preferred.
• Familiarity with heavy lifting techniques and safe equipment operation.
• Knowledge of warehouse management practices is advantageous.
• Certification in operating forklifts or heavy equipment is a plus.
• Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment while maintaining individual accountability.
